GrapeFest 2014 – September 11th thru September 14th

The 28th Annual GrapeFest will be held in downtown Grapevine on Main Street September 11th thru the 14th.  Main Street will be blocked off to thru traffic during the festival.  Admission is free to everyone, all day, Thursday and until 5:00pm on Friday.  This has become the largest wine festival in the SouthWest with unique wines from Italy and Washington this year and of course Texas wines too.  There is live entertainment and family friendly fun for the whole family.




Friday Night Fireworks at Lake Grapevine

See the skies light up over Lake Grapevine every Friday night beginning Memorial Day weekend and ending Labor Day weekend.  This is an annual event which draws thousands of visitors to watch each Friday night.  The show typically lasts about 10 to 15 minutes long and is especially beautiful if you’re fortunate to watch it from the water.  Other viewing sites include the top of the parking garage at the Gaylord Texan Resort as well as any of the parks around the lake.




Southlake’s Oktoberfest 2014 – October 3 thru October 5th

This year marks the 13th anniversary of the Oktoberfest celebration hosted by Southlake’s Chamber of Commerce.  This is a FREE event!  Bring the whole family and bring the pooch too.  You will enjoy lots of great food, arts and crafts and live entertainment.  And you can’t miss the annual Wiener Dog Races!  Located inside Southlake Town Square, this is a family friendly event you don’t want to miss.




Hall’s Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze

Opens Friday October 3rd for the 2014 season.  Every October, the Hall family opens their farm to the public to enjoy an old fashion fall celebration.  This has become an annual fall tradition for many families to buy pumpkins, explore the exciting corn maze and enjoy an old fashioned Hayride!





Keller Farmers Market May thru October

The Keller Farmers Market is a casual, open air, seasonal market at Keller Town Hall that offers fresh Texas produce, meats, tamales, baked goods, artisan bread, cheese, salsa, pasta, pet products and more.  The market is open to the public every Saturday from May to late October.  They offer a variety of live music, chef demonstration and other wellness minded events.  The market is located on Bear Creek Parkway in front of Keller Town Hall.




Grapevine Farmer’s Market April thru October

Located in the heart of Grapevine, this is a lovely little market held on Main Street each Thursday and Saturday.  They pride themselves on delivering the best local vendors around.  This is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon on historic Main Street.
