Colleyville is an affluent suburb situated in the heart of Dallas/Fort Worth. It offers big city amenities coupled with a laid-back, friendly atmosphere. This is a combination that has made Colleyville a premier destination in which to live, work and play. It is roughly 12 miles from D/FW International Airport and has a population of approximately 24,500 residents. Also known as the sister city to Southlake, Colleyville is best known for its charm and country setting. It was established from several small rural settlements along the Cotton Belt Route in the early 20th century by a prominent area physician and a veteran of the Union Army. Now days it’s home to many beautiful estate homes and several active horse and cattle farms. The scene above is one of my favorite ranches in the area and you can alway see lots of horses grazing in this beautiful pasture. Colleyville shares its school district with Grapevine, GCISD.
